Welcome to the MMU Maths society website.

The main purpose for establishing the maths society is to allow students from each year to interact with one another.

This will be achieved with organised events by the committee over the year. Ranging from font socials , Internal / External talks and of course End of year celebration trips. e.g Alton towers and maybe even a 3rd year graduation ball.

The purpose for this site is to hopefully create an area where students from all years can come and discuss any problems regarding their course. For example if you’re struggling with matrices or more likely MATLAB ! Then by making a short post on here about your problem then other members of the society will be able to read and reply with suggestions to help resolve the problem.
